Moussa Diakite Trio

Malian guitar legend Moussa Diakite brings his signature fusion of West African grooves, blues, jazz, Cuban rhythms and Afro-rock.

A former member of the iconic Afro-Latin Super Rail Band, Moussa went on to perform with Grammy Award-winning kora master Toumani Diabaté, before joining Salif Keita (the Golden Voice of Africa) on multiple world tours between 1990–1995.

With his band Wassado, Moussa has graced some of Australia’s most beloved festivals, including WOMADelaide, Woodford, Vivid, Bellingen Winter, and Mullum Music Festival.
